Our Core Message
Founded through the vision and collective commitment of members of the Archbishop Porter Girls Secondary School 1983 Year Group, Advocate for Young Women was established to create meaningful opportunities and provide essential support to disadvantaged young women facing social, financial, and emotional challenges.
The organization reflects a shared belief among its founders that when women unite to support the next generation, lasting transformation becomes possible.
Guided by compassion, leadership, and service, the organization continues to expand its reach and impact across communities. We are united by a shared belief that no young woman should have to face life’s challenges alone. Our team is made up of mentors, organizers, advocates, and community members who are committed to making a difference in the lives of young women. We are driven by compassion, guided by purpose, and strengthened by the communities we serve.
